During the Sami Grand Prix 2025, Jon Henrik, together with Mikkel Mathis Haetta and Nils-Ove Kuorak, performed a joik that Jon Henrik wrote for his friend Magnus who passed away far too soon.
Magnus' joik, also called "Faamoen vulie", means the joik of strength. With the song, Jon Henrik wants to give strength, hope and light to all those who need a shoulder to lean on. The music video was recorded in Kautokeino in northern Norway. With yoikers from different areas in the song, Jon Henrik wants to show that all Sami and other indigenous peoples are united with each other.
